What does CargoScope track today?
CargoScope tracks ocean shipments by container number, booking number, and Bill of Lading across 215+ shipping line & NVOCC connections. All three methods are included from the card-backed Starter trial onward.
Which shipping lines are supported?
CargoScope offers 215+ shipping line & NVOCC connections, including Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, COSCO, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, HMM, Yang Ming, and ZIM. Support for container, Bill of Lading, and booking numbers varies by line; the shipping lines directory shows what each one supports.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
Yes. You can create the workspace and save a shipment reference first, but a card is required before the 30-day trial and tracking access begin. Starter renews automatically after the trial unless canceled.
Does CargoScope replace shipping-line portals?
It replaces the daily routine of checking them. Milestones, the latest shipping-line ETA, and risk context come into one workspace, while shipping-line and terminal systems remain the underlying source of truth.
How does demurrage risk work?
CargoScope watches milestone and free-time context so your team can prioritize containers before charges start. Exact demurrage and detention outcomes still depend on the terminal, shipping line, and your contract terms.
When does CargoScope use a Tracking Credit?
One Tracking Credit is used only when a new shipment is successfully created. Carrier updates, alerts, polling, ETA changes, and monitoring through completion use no additional credits.
Can I manage billing from the mobile app?
Subscription and billing management stays on the web workspace. The mobile app is a companion for shipment visibility and alerts on the go.
