What happened to Delmas
CMA CGM bought Delmas, a carrier on the trades between Western Europe and Africa, from the Bolloré Group in 2005. Delmas was fully integrated into CMA CGM in March 2016, and its services now run as CMA CGM.
Tracking a former Delmas shipment
Look the shipment up with CMA CGM, using the reference CMA CGM issued: its Bill of Lading or booking number, or the container number. Enter the container number exactly as it is painted on the box or printed on your documents, even when it still carries an old Delmas prefix.
- A document issued before the change can still name Delmas; ask CMA CGM or your booking agent for the current reference.
- If CMA CGM cannot find the shipment, confirm the reference with the agent that issued it before assuming the cargo has not moved.
