What happened to Feedertech
Feedertech ran feeder services between ports in Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East. Unifeeder, DP World's feeder and shortsea line, acquired it, and on 30 June 2020 DP World announced that the two companies' services had been integrated onto one platform. Feedertech's web address now redirects, by way of Unifeeder's, to DP World's shipping solutions.
Tracking a former Feedertech shipment
Look the shipment up with Unifeeder, using the reference Unifeeder issued: its Bill of Lading or booking number, or the container number. Enter the container number exactly as it is painted on the box or printed on your documents, even when it still carries an old Feedertech prefix.
- A document issued before the change can still name Feedertech; ask Unifeeder or your booking agent for the current reference.
- If Unifeeder cannot find the shipment, confirm the reference with the agent that issued it before assuming the cargo has not moved.
Track Unifeeder shipments in CargoScope
CargoScope tracks Unifeeder shipments. The Unifeeder page lists the reference types it accepts and starts tracking; the shipment record then keeps the available milestones and ETA changes in one place.
