Terminal visibility

PNCT is Port Newark Container Terminal, a distinct facility within the New York and New Jersey gateway. Newark is also used as a broader location name, so retain the full PNCT identity on the arrival notice. When the shipment continues by rail, separate the marine discharge from the ExpressRail handoff and the later destination ramp. A PNCT event cannot establish availability at another gateway terminal.

• Use PNCT’s own availability and gate resources and keep any ExpressRail Newark transfer as a separate milestone.

Carrier milestones and terminal confirmation
